Die Geburtsstunde
Am 18. Juli 1903 fuhr die erste elektrische Straßenbahn durch Cottbus. Im Dezember 1903 standen 15 Triebwagen für die Personenbeförderung bereit – die restlichen Wagen wurden erst ein Jahr später vom Hersteller aus Breslau nachgeliefert.
Wiederaufbau & Wachstum
Nach den schweren Jahren des Krieges wuchs das Netz rasant. Neue Linien erschlossen die wachsenden Stadtteile.
Die Tatra-Ära
Mit Einführung der allseits bekannten tschechoslowakischen Tatra-Bahnen wurden die Fahrzeuge der Vorkriegs- und Nachkriegsgeneration abgelöst. Trotz anfänglicher Skepsis bewährten sich die fortschrittlichen Fahrzeuge und prägen bis heute das Stadtbild weit über Brandenburgs Grenzen hinaus.
Neustart als GmbH
Mit der politischen Wende begann die Transformation zum modernen Dienstleister. Cottbusverkehr wurde zur GmbH und investierte in die Zukunft.
Barrierefreiheit
Umfassende Modernisierung der Flotte. Niederflurbahnen und Busse ermöglichen Mobilität für alle.
Grüne Zukunft
